JoAnn Concialdi & Dancing Spirit Healing

My interest and studies into “alternative” and holistic health and philosophies began over 30 years ago, ranging from diet, nutrition and chemical and environmental toxicities to Chinese medicine, homeopathy, ayurveda, the workings of energy, metaphysics, and the mind-body-spirit connection, as well as theosophy, mysticism, Eastern and Native American spiritual traditions, philosophies, energy healing, and practices and has become a guiding force in my way of life and in my practice.

I began my formal trainings in 2004, focusing in particular on the Bach Flower Remedies, Reiki, Pranic Healing and Yoga and Meditation.

As a Bach Flower Practitioner, I trained through the Bach International Education Program, the only accredited program of study in North America approved by the Bach Centre in England.  I completed their advanced practitioner training and am a Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner (BFRP).  I am also an approved Mentor to students in their Distance Learning Program, an introductory Level 1 correspondence course.

As a Reiki Master of the Usui Shiki Ryoho method, I am a Registered Member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals.

I completed the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification program from Gopi Om, a disciple of Sri Dharma Mittra, and earned RYT-200 (Registered Yoga Teacher) credentials through the Yoga Alliance.  And I have also acquired Relax and Renew® Restorative Yoga Teacher certification from the incomparable Judith Hanson Lasater, Ph.D., P.T., senior master teacher and student of the venerable B.K.S. Iyengar.

I am passionate about holistic health and well-being and “alternative” forms of healing that incorporate all aspects of our being—the spiritual, physical, mental, and the emotional.  I believe that physical illness occurs when our mental and emotional states are at cross-purposes with our spirit and soul states and that bringing ourselves into balance and aligning ourselves with our Higher Self is the key to perfect health.  Everyone has the ability to heal, but not everyone has the knowledge to be able to help themselves to do so. It is my joy to be able to assist people in helping and healing themselves, so that they can fulfill their own personal joy.

I also believe it is important to provide an environment, both physical and emotional, for clients which promotes positive thinking and well-being and to create a beautiful, peaceful atmosphere that is supportive, nurturing, and soothing in order to fill their hearts, minds and souls with healing energy.
